ALINA ENEJI S.A. Was Founded to Tackle Haiti’s Energy Challenges with Innovation
ALINA ENEJI S.A was founded in January 2021 to address Haiti's energy challenges. Following the necessary legal processes to enter the market, the company began operations in July 2021 and quickly installed energy solutions for approximately 175 people. ALINA ENEJI S.A. is committed to expanding its reach and aims to provide electricity access to around 40,000 people by 2025.
Our Story
The vision for ALINA ENEJI S.A. was sparked in the early 2000s by a simple yet frustrating reality: unreliable electricity. One evening, a child sat with their family, waiting in vain for the lights to turn on. Plans were disrupted, and like countless others in Haiti, they had to adapt to life without a stable energy source.
As the years passed, that child grew into a teenager and continued to reflect on that experience. They questioned why access to electricity should be so unpredictable. Recognizing Haiti's abundant sunshine as an energy source with immense potential, they began to explore how renewable energy could provide a more reliable and sustainable solution.
From this idea, ALINA ENEJI S.A. was born, driven by a mission to expand energy access through innovation. Today, the company is working to bring affordable, clean, and dependable electricity to communities across Haiti, turning a long-standing challenge into an opportunity for progress.
